The Science Behind Ilovenootropics
Every formula we develop starts with the same question: what does the scientific evidence say? No fads, no trends, no marketing. Just rigorous research translated into supplements that work.

Methodology & Evidence
Our formulation process goes through four rigorous stages before any product reaches the market. No shortcuts, no compromises.
Every candidate ingredient undergoes an exhaustive review of peer-reviewed studies. We only consider compounds with at least 3 human clinical trials published in indexed journals (PubMed, Cochrane). Animal or in vitro studies alone are not enough.
We use the exact doses that have demonstrated efficacy in human studies. No pixie dusting: token amounts that only serve to get an ingredient on the label. If the effective dose isn't economically viable, we don't bring the product to market.
We work exclusively with GMP-certified suppliers (Good Manufacturing Practices). Each batch of raw material undergoes purity, potency, and contamination testing—heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins—before incorporation into the formula.
We publish every ingredient with its exact dose. No proprietary blends, no hidden ingredients. Manufacturing in ISO 22000-certified facilities within the European Union. If we can't show exactly what's inside and why, we don't put it on the market.
These are the core compounds in our range. Expand each one to see the scientific evidence supporting its inclusion and the dose we use.
Lion's Mane is a medicinal mushroom extensively studied for its ability to stimulate the production of NGF (Nerve Growth Factor). A 2023 meta-analysis published in Nutrients analyzed 9 controlled trials with 553 participants, concluding that supplementation significantly improves cognitive function, particularly memory and focus. Documented effective dose: 500–3000 mg/day. We use fruiting body extract with 30% beta-glucans to ensure maximum bioavailability.
L-Theanine is an amino acid found in green tea that promotes relaxation without sedation. Combined with caffeine — the so-called 'focus stack' — it improves selective attention and reaction time. A double-blind trial published in Nutritional Neuroscience showed that this combination improves performance on demanding cognitive tasks by 31% more than caffeine alone. Our 200 mg dose falls within the documented clinically active range.
An adaptogenic plant with over 2,000 years of use in Ayurvedic medicine, now backed by modern research. A meta-analysis of 9 randomized placebo-controlled studies demonstrated significant improvements in information processing speed and verbal memory. Effects are cumulative and peak with 8–12 weeks of continuous use. Standardized extract with 45% bacosides, the documented active compound.
An essential phospholipid of neuronal membranes. Multiple clinical trials have demonstrated its efficacy in improving memory, learning, and focus under cognitive stress. The FDA acknowledges it may reduce the risk of cognitive dysfunction. Our supply is sourced from sunflower, avoiding concerns associated with GMO soy sources.
An adaptogen with solid clinical evidence for reducing mental fatigue and stress. A multicenter study in Phytomedicine with 576 participants demonstrated significant reduction in mental exhaustion and improved cognitive performance under chronic stress conditions in just 28 days. Standardized extract with 3% rosavins and 1% salidroside, the documented active compounds.
